We offer musical theatre camps during certain weeks in the months of June and July. Everyone gets to be a STAR! Students will learn several songs, dialogue and choreography of various musicals. They spend the week (generally 3 hours per day) learning their parts and creating an abbreviated version of a musical with a special performance for friends and family on the last day of the camp. Each year we offer one musical that will combine all grades to be performed on Stage 6 at Jenks High School and directed by Larry Downey.
If you play an instrument, we offer rock band camps for various instruments and ages. Students will learn to play in a group, write their own songs, and learn to play music from their favorite artists. The week ends with their very own concert performed for friends and family. Rock band is great for participating in group-building and improvisational exercises, writing original songs as a group, studying music theory, and having a blast doing it!
